Join to apply for the Fleet Manager I role at Bennett Family of Companies The Fleet Manager I is responsible for performing complex analytical and data input functions to ensure the maximum utilization of assigned contractors (Owner Operators). This includes coordinating the planning and movement of available loads from Agents and field offices/terminals with Owner Operators, as well as providing direct communication to the Owner Operators to coordinate required FMCSA and administrative compliance. Key responsibilities include: Meeting daily revenue goals for the division Ensuring assigned fleet contractors (owner operators) achieve the monthly IRS form 1099 revenue goal per unit Managing and issuing the contractor load advance to ensure compliance with established guidelines Maintaining assigned fleets contractor turnover to no more than one cancellation per month Managing customer on-time performance requirements utilizing operating system updates for in transit check calls and proactive actions Managing assigned fleets vehicle operator compliance in attending safety meetings Requirements for the role include: Computer input experience and practical work history in supporting over-the-road operations of a motor carrier compliance with state/federal DOT regulations Understanding of equipment types, their capacity, and capabilities, as well as customer service and good communication skills Experience in platform trucking operations and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task Exceptional customer service skills EEO Statement: Bennett Family of Companies is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from women, minorities, veterans, and disabled individuals. #J-18808-Ljbffr Bennett Family of Companies
