Job Description

JCW is currently recruiting for a highly motivated and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join the Finance team at a leading investment bank based in New York. This role will be instrumental in driving financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis across business units. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial modeling, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the firm's Manhattan office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning
• Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing variance explanations and actionable insights
• Partner with business unit leaders and senior finance stakeholders to support key decision-making
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages for executive leadership, including commentary on performance drivers
• Conduct ad hoc analysis to support M&A, capital allocation, and cost optimization initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (CPA, CFA, or MBA a plus)
• 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking; financial services industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• High level of integrity, initiative, and attention to detail
