The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Clinical Data Science to lead strategic initiatives that drive innovation in global pharmaceutical development. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing advanced AI/ML methodologies in disease modeling, genomics, and precision medicine applications. This role also involves representing the organization in regulatory discussions, mentoring a diverse team of data scientists, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in clinical trial data science programming. The Executive Director will oversee large-scale data science projects, evaluate innovative analytical approaches, and communicate complex data science concepts to stakeholders with an executive-level presence. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in biostatistics, bioinformatics, or a related computational science, with a minimum of 10 years of industry experience in clinical development and data science. Recognized expertise in AI/ML modeling and precision medicine applications is essential, as is a proven ability to influence regulatory authorities and present at external forums. Strong leadership skills and experience in managing diverse, high-performing teams are required. The ideal candidate will have a background in neurology research, particularly in Alzheimer's disease biomarkers, and expertise in statistical methods as applied in clinical trials. Proficiency in budget management and operational excellence in data science initiatives is also a key requirement for this role.
