Job Summary: Kinetics Noise Control, a leader in manufacturing noise and vibration control products for commercial and residential construction markets, is seeking an organized and customer-focused Estimator to support our Room Acoustics and Home product lines. This role is essential to driving sales growth through accurate, timely quoting and providing excellent communication to both internal and external partners. The Estimator will interact daily with customers via phone and email and work closely with our Sales and Project Management teams.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Quoting & Estimating:
  • Prepare accurate and timely quotes for Room Acoustics and Home products based on customer drawings, specifications, and requests.
  • Develop bill of materials (BOMs) and price estimates for standard and custom product offerings.
  • Review architectural and construction documents to determine project scope and product requirements.
• Customer Communication:
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to pricing, lead times, and product information.
  • Communicate effectively with customers through phone, email, and video conferencing to clarify project needs and provide professional service.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, reps, dealers, and contractors.
• Internal Collaboration:
  • Coordinate with Sales and Project Management teams to ensure seamless hand-off of awarded projects.
  • Provide feedback and insights to improve quoting processes and customer satisfaction.
• Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of quotes, project status, and customer communications in CRM and other business systems.
  • Track and report on quoting activity, conversion rates, and market trends as required by management.

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Must be able to communicate verbally and or in writing as to work requirements, work in progress, and discrepancy issues. Interacts verbally and in writing with customers, employees, members of management, and others as necessary. Telephone and personal contacts necessary.
• Must demonstrate tact, diplomacy, professionalism, and positive demeanor in performance of duties.
• Strong analytic skills, able to use math to add, subtract, multiply or divide and may work with fractions, decimals, or percentages.

Routine physical demands for office environment. Some prolonged periods of sitting may be required. Occasional lifting of boxes (up to 25 pounds) may be required as needed. Must be able to ascend and descend stairs and traverse into offices and plant areas, as needed.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

In-office with hybrid remote after training; remote timeline based on proof of abilities and trustworthiness. Manufacturing floor, as needed.

Additional Information:

Work Location: Corporate facility Dublin, OH; Working Hours: 8:00 a.m.– 5:00 p.m. or more if required to meet deadlines. Must be reliable. Generally responsible for the safety of own work area. Safety glasses and proper footwear are required in manufacturing areas.
