Summary

As a Dog Daycare Attendant at Dog-Gone Fun, you will play an essential role in caring for our furry guests. Located in a vibrant community, this position is vital to our commitment to providing exceptional pet care services and ensuring a positive experience for both dogs and their owners.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with dogs in the daycare to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Monitor dog behavior and intervene as necessary to prevent conflicts or stress.
• Maintain cleanliness of the daycare area, including kennels and play space
• Perform basic grooming tasks such as brushing and bathing when required.
• Lift heavy items such as food bags or equipment safely as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in animal handling or pet care is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and active engagement with dogs.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members.
• Basic understanding of animal health and safety protocols is a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
• Must be able to work 7 am -12pm and 2 pm to 6 pm
• Must be able to work 12 months out of the year
