Job Title: Director of Events - Development (Non-profit fundraising experience)

Job Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)

Job Type: Full-Time

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Non-profit fundraising experience in complex organizations such as higher education or health care
• at least 10 years of non-profit event management experience, eight years of which must include managing team members and driving event revenue; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Familiarity with fundraising and events software, such as Raiser’s Edge NXT, GiveSmart, Whova, and others

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree and at least 10 years of non-profit event management experience, eight years of which must include managing team members and driving event revenue; or equivalent combination of education and experience

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Non-profit fundraising experience in complex organizations such as higher education or health care.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSAs):

• Proven track record in driving revenue through events
• Familiarity with fundraising and events software, such as Raiser’s Edge NXT, GiveSmart, Whova, and others
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams to complete projects on time and within budget constraints; builds consensus and fosters a sense of teamwork
• Strong executive presence
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Resourcefulness, creativity, adaptability and flexibility required
