Director of Golf
Golf course in Miami Shores, Florida is looking for a Director of Golf.
Position Overview:
Directs all operations of the golf facility (e.g., pro shop, maintenance, driving range, simulators, instructional offerings, golf cart fleet maintenance, and club house including food and beverage and event coordination); supervises department employees including seasonal staff; develops policy; promotes the game of golf through public relations’ activities. Attends various related meetings (Park Board, Advisory Boards, Staff Meetings).
Requirements:
Associates degree in management, or related field, or any combination of training and/or experience which evidences an advanced knowledge of management and supervision; thorough knowledge of the game of golf; Class A Professional with five (5) years training under a member of the Professional Golfers’ Association of America. At least five (5) years of golf instruction experience.
Knowledge of golf cart maintenance and fleet operation.
Basic knowledge of turf maintenance and operations.
Basic knowledge of building maintenance.
Compensation:
$98,408.00 – $132,582.00 per year.
