MCHC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant/RDA to support our mission of providing compassionate, high-quality care to the people in our community. What You'll Do:

• Perform all dental assistant duties allowed under California law, as directed by a licensed dentist.
• Provide chairside and clinical support during exams and procedures.
• Take impressions for models and denture appliances.
• Place and remove rubber dams or other isolation devices.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during appointments; communicate observations to the dentist.
• Assist in discussing treatment plans with patients and act as a liaison between provider and patient.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and care.
• Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms in compliance with infection control standards.

Requirements:

For Dental Assistant:

• High School Diploma or GED
• CPR Certification
• 8-Hour Infection Control Certificate
• Willing and able to travel to other MCHC sites for trainings, meetings, and/or to cover shifts as needed.  

Preferred:

• Experience working in a dental office with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (fluent)
• California X-ray License

For Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) :

• High School Diploma or GED
• California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) License
• CPR Certification
• California X-ray License
• Coronal Polish Certificate
• Sealant Certificate
• Willing and able to travel to other MCHC sites for trainings, meetings, and/or to cover shifts as needed.  

Preferred:

• Experience working in a dental office with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (fluent)

Compensation details: 23-30 Hourly Wage
