2nd Shift CNC Mill & Lathe Operator

Location: Falconer, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:15 PM – 2:15 AM | Overtime Available
Pay: $20-23+ $2/hr shift differential starting day 1
Job Type: Permanent Hire – Direct Hire

Overview:
A growing precision machining company is seeking 2nd Shift CNC Mill & Lathe Operators to join their team. This role focuses on operating and setting up Mori Seki/Hwacheon (Fanuc) CNC single- and multi-spindle lathes and mills in a cell environment. Operators will run production on multiple machines, perform inspections, document results, and maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC lathes and mills.
• Perform milling, turning, drilling, tapping, deburring, sawing, and sanding tasks.
• Detect and report defective materials or equipment issues.
• Conduct inspections and document results for quality control.
• Complete and maintain production paperwork.
• Assist in other areas, including fabrication, infiltration, and sandblasting tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols.

Skills & Competencies:

• Mechanical aptitude and technical capacity.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Basic mathematical skills for measurement and production accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based, production-focused environment.
