Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Chief Protection Officer to provide dedicated personal protection for a private family in Los Angeles. The CPO will lead a small, highly trained security team , ensuring discretion, professionalism, and seamless protection during daily life, travel (including private aviation), and public appearances. The CPO will also liaise closely with the family’s Executive Assistant to coordinate schedules, travel plans, and security requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of close protection officers for 24/7 family coverage.
• Deliver comprehensive close protection for family members.
• Manage and coordinate luxury ground transport, private aviation, and on-demand security services.
• Conduct advance planning, risk assessment, and threat mitigation for residences, travel, and public appearances.
• Liaise with the family’s Executive Assistant to align protection plans with the family’s schedule and priorities.
• Liaise with local authorities, service providers, and venues as needed.
• Train, mentor, and supervise additional security personnel as required.

Candidate Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant executive protection experience, preferably with private clients, family offices, or high-net-worth individuals.
• Proven experience leading a close protection team .
• High discretion, professionalism, and excellent judgment.
• Experience coordinating and travelling with clients, including via private aviation.
• Ability to collaborate with executive staff and adapt security plans accordingly.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to fast-changing circumstances.
