Job Summary and Qualifications

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday with no nights, weekends, or on-call requirements.

In this role, you will:

  • Prepare patients for examination by gathering histories and vital signs.
  • Maintain and prepare examination rooms with necessary instruments and supplies.
  • Administer injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy.
  • Aid physicians during minor surgeries and physicals.
  • Handle phone calls and referrals for the practice.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or equivalent clinical experience.
  • Candidates without certification must obtain it within one year of hire.
  • New graduates are expected to achieve certification within 60 days of employment.
  • Active certification such as RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA is preferred.
