Job Description

A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is needed to support elementary-aged students in a school setting located in Battle Ground, WA. This contract role is available for the current school year (CSY) and offers an opportunity to apply specialized healthcare skills within an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to children in an elementary school setting.
• Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Assist in assessing students abilities and progress while documenting therapy sessions and outcomes.
• Support students development of motor, sensory, and functional skills to enhance their academic participation.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to school-based healthcare services.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with relevant healthcare and school-based experience.
• Familiarity with pediatric occupational therapy techniques applicable to elementary-aged children.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a school setting.
