Hiring experienced Climbers / Certified Arborists in the sunny Okanagan Valley in British Columbia. Kelowna is a top tourist destination, with everything from beaches to ski slopes and lots of golfing. You must have the ability to work in Canada prior to being hired.
We are rated #1 in the valley and have been in business for over 40 years. Our primary goals are excellent customer service and the safety of our crew. We provide all climbing gear, saws and PPE (with a yearly allowance for boots and saw pants after the first year) to ensure the quality is up to our safety standards. We offer competitive wages, extended benefits and bonuses based on performance.
You must have the ability to lead a crew for residential jobs and safely complete all tree work including removals and pruning while working with a groundsperson. You should have the ability to complete all types of skill level jobs including hazard tree removals and troubleshooting challenges. Our employees need to be respectful and professional with both clients and crew at all times.
You must have a valid drivers license, clean driving record and be able to drive standard transmission. We operate a drug and alcohol free work environment for the safety of our crew and clients. Wages will be between $25 - $35 per hour based on skill and experience and will be subject to a trial period to confirm skills.
