Tri Star Freight System is looking for a Local, Regional and Over the Road Company Combo Container Driver to join our team! Must be able to do all three - this is not exclusively a local position.

We offer the following pay based on mileage:

Local (0-100 miles from Port) $26.25 per hour
Regional (101-200 miles from Port) $0.80 per mile
OTR (201+ miles from Port) $0.59 per mile

Driver Responsibilities:

• Deliver products to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
• You must be hard-working, team-oriented, friendly, honest, and have great customer service skills.

Must have:

• Valid CDL
• TWIC Card
• A minimum of 2 years experience
• Acceptable motor vehicle record (specific requirements may vary)
• Must pass drug and other pre-employment requirements
• We do not accept SAP drivers or drivers that have ever been apart of the SAP program

Benefits Package includes:

• 100% Company Paid Profit Sharing fully vested on Year 7

• 100% Company Paid Basic Term Life, $25K policy with matching AD&D $25K policy (two policies at zero cost to you)
• Paid $15.00 per hour for Breakdown / Maintenance
• Layover Pay is a flat rate of $150.00 (includes meals, hotel, rental car, etc.) if billable or dispatch error. Other instances will be reviewed as they occur.
• Detention / Waiting Time - 2 hours free, then hourly rate applies if billable (Driver must let dispatcher know if going into detention and detention must be signed off)
• Medical insurance (Company contributes towards cost of premiums)

• Optional Life Insurance Employee / Spouse / Child(ren)
• Short Term Disability, Cancer, Accident, Hospitalization, Critical Illness, etc. offered
• Ten (10) Personal Days off after one year of continuous service

• Discretionary Bonuses paid at end of each year, based on performance not guaranteed
• $2,500 Sign-On Bonus paid in increments (60, 120, 180 and 365 days)
• $500 Referral Bonus paid in increments (14, 45 and 90 days)

• Fuel credit card (for diesel and def only, unless used for preventative maintenance or parts authorized by Fleet Manager). No personal usage allowed.
