The Cash Management Specialist (CMS) is responsible for assisting customers that utilize Peoples Bank’s Cash Management suite of products. The CMS will work closely with the Digital Banking Director and Digital Banking Team to assist customers in a friendly, helpful manner. The primary responsibility for this position is to ensure bank customers have a remarkable experience when using its Cash Management products. 

Customer Service: 35%
•Provide a high level of customer service. This includes understanding customer needs as
well as understanding the bank products and services offered. Continuously strives to exceed customers’ expectations.
•Support customers and bank personnel with urgent maintenance requests. Responsible for certain maintenance functions for both CIF level and Account level while adhering to limitations and standards set by management.
•Assist bankers in enrolling new customers in our Cash Management products. 
•Provide back-up support to digital banking team including, but not limited to, serving customers with online banking, bill pay, mobile banking, E-statements, etc.

Business Development and Location Support: 30%
•Maintain an expert level of knowledge in the Bank’s Cash Management products, digital banking products, and all deposit type products for both consumers and businesses.
•Assist with sales, setup, and maintenance of Bank’s banking deposit products, such as
but not limited to Cash Management, Remote Deposit, Positive Pay, etc.
•Work with Bank personnel to retain and expand relationships with current customers and open new products and services with prospective customers.
•Support locations in their overall deposit growth goals. 
•Understand and comply with the related laws and compliance regulations that pertain such as, but not limited to BSA, Privacy, Funds Availability Policy, etc.
•Complete the required educational opportunities in a timely manner and attend all necessary
meetings and educational opportunities as recommended.
•Participate and support community initiatives at Bank locations.

Product Knowledge: 30%
•Assist in the planning and conducting of regular training for Bank personnel as necessary to educate and utilize our cash management products.
•Continually evaluate the success and effectiveness of the cash management products including the research of new cash management products.
•Promote use and value of Peoples Bank’s cash management products to internal and external customers.
•Work with IT, Compliance, Deposit and Business Development staff on initiatives that pertain to cash management products.
•Perform auditing duties to ensure all standards and requirements are met.

Other: 5% 
•As part of the overall team of bank employees, this position may be requested to assist in the support of other bank activities.

The ability to express and to communicate thoughts and ideas in a professional, clear and concise manner, both orally and in written form to a variety of audiences and to all levels of staff.

Professionalism:
Projects a positive image of the bank to all internal and external customers at all times along with the ability to work well with others. Helps to build and promote teamwork.

Time and Work Management:
Ability to effectively manage one’s time to complete work according to established deadlines. The ability to prioritize tasks to make the best use of time for high priority tasks.

Education and Special Requirements:
•Two-year degree in a business-related field or one to three years of related experience working in banking or cash management environment.
•This job requires skills needed in a typical office environment. This includes computer skills and a working knowledge of Word and Excel, must be able to type, use of ten key communications skills, utilization of typical office equipment, and an occasional need to lift up to 20 pounds.
•Valid Driver’s License required. Travel expected up to 15% within the communities we serve.
