As a Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in managing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and reporting. Key Responsibilities:

• Process and reconcile daily cashouts for servers and bartenders, ensuring precise tip distribution.
• Post daily sales data from the POS system into tracking sheets and maintain the period binder.
• Monitor daily deposits, credit card batches, and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage accounts payable, matching invoices to receiving logs and preparing vendor payments.
• Assist in weekly labor and cost reporting for management review.

Qualifications:

• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience in a restaurant environment is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including POS systems and cash handling.
• Proficient in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) with high attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality.

Working Conditions:

• On-site position with morning availability required.
• Collaborate closely with managers, servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
• Part-time schedule, Monday to Friday.
