We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Bankruptcy Attorney Lawyer to join a law firm in Jackson / Ridgeland, Mississippi. The ideal candidate will be experienced in consumer bankruptcy law, possess strong advocacy skills, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional legal services in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on representing secured creditors in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy matters across multiple jurisdictions.

• Represent secured creditors in consumer bankruptcy cases, including Chapter 7, 11, and 13 matters.

• Manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other necessary legal documents.

• Attend hearings throughout Mississippi as required, collaborating with coverage attorneys when necessary.

• Provide strategic advice and advocacy in contested and uncontested bankruptcy matters.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws as well as bankruptcy rules.

• Utilize electronic court filing systems and servicing platforms effectively.

• Collaborate with team members to promote quality and efficiency in legal services.

• Identify and resolve issues promptly, analyzing information to develop solutions.

• Adapt to changes and contribute to a positive team environment.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Mississippi; additional bar admissions are a plus.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in consumer bankruptcy law, preferably representing creditors.
• Strong knowledge of bankruptcy rules and procedures, including familiarity with electronic court filing systems.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with learning new technology platforms.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
