Who We Are:

We are a Los Angeles-based Fashion Company specializing in Women's, Juniors, and girls' apparel. We service multi-channels of distribution in retail partnerships with department stores and specialty chains throughout the country.

Associate Designer

The role would be to assist the Senior Designer in all aspects of creating a line for the monthly market. The ideal candidate must be hardworking, detail-oriented, organized, a team player, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

What you will do:

• Ensure execution of all samples for market and sales meetings.
• Working with CAD/3D artists, pattern makers, and sales reps to service all store accounts and address special projects.
• Compiling pre-costing information as needed for pre-production tech packs
• Manage fabric inventory and library
• Responsible for maintaining all line sheets, and fabric.
• Manage send-outs writing Pos, following up on orders sent out to vendors
• Compile and pass all standards/qualities to costing tech members for order hand-off meetings
• Proficient in sketching
• Assist in costing - based on staffing in dept.
• Create tech packs for overseas development
• Assist with follow-up on OD styles
• All other duties as may be assigned by management.
• All other duties as may be assigned.
• Must be able to work Monday through Friday. There will be overtime and some weekends based on business needs and project deadlines.

What we are looking for:

• Must have 3-4 years of experience in the garment industry
• Proficient in sketching
• Computer experience with knowledge of Photoshop, CAD, Illustrator, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Tech Packs
• Must have excellent time management and organization skills.
• Saturday work at least once a month
• Able to work as part of a team to accomplish all duties

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
