GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION Instruct courses and/or mentor Teacher Candidates attending the Alternative Teacher Certification program at a K-12 education center.
Employee may not work more than 19.5 hours per week. WORKING CONDITIONS : Restricted-Sustained posture, for prolonged periods; light lifting, some walking, pushing, pulling on a regular basis. Minimal Hazard/Exposure - Standard office setting. At least minimal environmental controls are in place to assure health and comfort.
BENEFITS: Part-Time Retirement. Participation in Medicare Part A, but not Social Security (FICA).
QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with current Texas Teacher Certification
Experience: Currently employed as a teacher at a Texas K-12 school
