Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records for our partners.

What will you do:

Billing Operations:

• Generate and issue accurate invoices to channel partners and direct clients
• Ensure billing cycles are completed on time and aligned with contractual agreements
• Support sales tax reporting and revenue recognition scheduling

Collections Management:

• Monitor accounts receivable and proactively follow up on overdue payments in accordance with company protocols
• Build and maintain positive relationships with partners and clients to facilitate smooth payment processes

Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Prepare regular reports on billing and collections status.
• Analyze payment trends and identify opportunities for process improvement
• Support end-of-month period closing and financial reporting activities

System Utilization:

• Manage billing and collections processes using NetSuite, Stripe, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ensure data integrity across all platforms and reconcile any discrepancies

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist at Cynet, you’ll play a vital role in shaping and scaling our AR and billing operations. Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in billing and collections, preferably within the tech or SaaS industry
• Knowledge of subscription-based revenue models
• Experience working with channel partners such as resellers, distributors, and MSPs
• Proficiency in NetSuite, Stripe, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Bookkeeping experience is a plus
• Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership of end-to-end processes.
• Full-time position; willingness to work extra hours during monthly and quarterly closings

The ideal candidate must be based in either Boston, MA or Tampa, FL.

Salary is determined by a combination of factors, including location, level, relevant experience, and skills
