Job Description
Desired Candidate Qualities:
- Self-motivated and willing to learn
- Team-oriented individual with strong problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities:
- Candidates will be responsible for developing 2D graphics for use in virtual maintenance simulations
- Convert subject source material and engineering drawings or photos into isometric or orthographic realistic 2D illustrations
- Interrupting technical manuals to create graphics for equipment maintenance procedures
- Ability to gather requirements from stakeholders and work collaboratively within a team as well as independently on assigned projects
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Follow design guidelines, asset naming conventions, and other technical constraints
- Prototype and iterate on graphics, and user interfaces based on feedback from team members
- Work with other artists, animators, and programmers to execute projects on time
Education:
· A Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Graphic Design, Multimedia Art
Requirements and Expectations:
- US Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Must be proficient with Adobe Illustrator
- Must be familiar with Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to learn and adapt to new workflows and methods
- Ability to take feedback and make changes as required
- Updated portfolio of previous work
