2025 Summer Internship (LEAP) Learn, Experience, Acknowledge, Perform

Wastequip is looking for 2025 Summer Interns in the LEAP Program. The LEAP Program originated on the idea of creating opportunities for current students to gain valuable working experience in a manufacturing and professional environment. Through training and challenging assignments, each LEAP participant will gain a strong foundation of experiences that will help them navigate through future career opportunities.

The LEAP program allows each student to gain knowledge through multiple assignments over a 2-month period. These assignments allow participants to experience several different functional departments within the company. The LEAP program has multiple tracks consisting of Finance, Engineering, IT, Marketing and Operations . Wastequip has multiple locations around the United States and each LEAP member will be given options on where they complete the 2-month Program. This is a paid internship.

Over the 2 months, participants will:

  • Develop and apply business skills in the Finance and Accounting environment
  • Experience broad and diverse assignments
  • Receive training and development
  • Build relationships through networking events
  • Enhance productivity through process improvement
  • Bring fresh and innovative ideas to our company

Experiences may include, but are not limited to:

  • FP& A
  • Accounting
  • Financial Shared Services
  • Financial Acumen

Qualifications:

This program is designed for current college students on track to graduate in 2025 or 2026

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Admin
  • Recommended GPA of 3.0 or above on 4.0 scale
  • Relevant coursework and/or projects
  • Previous internship experience is a plus
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Willing to relocate for the summer Internship
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
