Job Title: Welder - Structural Components

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled welder to join our team on the 1st shift, from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for welding steel staircases, railings, and other structural components to buildings. Additionally, you will handle grinding and repair welds on finished handrails, using a hand grinder and polisher alongside welding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Weld steel staircases, railings, and structural components to buildings.
• Perform grinding and repair welds on finished handrails.
• Utilize hand grinders and polishers, as well as welding equipment.
• Move and load products after shipments are completed.
• Handle materials such as steel, stainless steel, and occasionally aluminum.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read and interpret construction and production blueprints.
• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding.
• Experience with steel fabrication and structural steel.
• Skill in using fixtures and welding equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience handling various materials including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
