That’s right fight fans, it is happening for sure now! Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather is scheduled for May 2, 2015 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada and I am super excited. This is a fight that all fight fans have been waiting for over 5 years now. This fight will unify the Welterweight championships which hasn’t happened in a really long time. The unification of these titles will make this fight even more epic. Lets take a look at both of these boxers.

Manny Pacquiao is a 22-time world champion in 8 different weight classes and he is the current WBO World Welterweight Champion. He is also the only 8-division world champion. Pacquiao has fought the who’s- who in boxing with a record of 57-5-2. This is one dangerous southpaw who comes to fight and won’t look past you at all. If you haven’t see Pacquiao fight then you have missed out on a man who is exciting and is always humble before and after a fight. This might be Pacquiao’s last fight win, lose, or draw because he knows that Father Time is catching up and it might be time to hang ¬†up his gloves. Pacquiao has always stated, “Before I retire I want to fight Mayweather to see who the best is.” Now is his chance to find out.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a 25-time world champion and without a doubt the most flamboyant fighter of his generation. He has a right to be that with his record of 47-0-0. Being undefeated makes Mayweather a cocky but tough fighter. Mayweather was born into boxing because of his father and his uncle who both have trained him since he was a boy. When Mayweather said he wanted to be a fighter he knew that the pressure to be the best was tough. Mayweather has been showing why he is the best with his speed, power, and combos that makes any fighter wish they had all of those tools in their repertoire. With this fight coming up, Mayweather knows this is going to be a legacy fight and one that will be talked about for a long time.

Who’s team are you on Team Pacquiao or Team Mayweather and why ?
